Our commitment to accessibility
Limbic Access Accessibility Features
Limbic Access is designed to be fully accessible to all and is designed according to W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. and conforms to most priority checkpoints which entail some of the following elements:
Navigation Shortcuts
Limbic Access can be navigated by using the tab key to traverse the elements of each page and by using the enter key to activate an element.
Structured, Semantic Markup
HTML heading tags are used to convey the document structure. Semantic code makes it possible for a screen reader to function properly.
Images Visibility
All content images include descriptive ALT attributes, and all purely decorative graphics include null ALT attributes.
Standards Compliance
The web-bot is designed to conform to Level AA compliance as specified by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. All pages validate as XHTML 1.0 and use structured semantic markup.
Design and content
We offer a contrast mode and text size adjusting to conform to Level AAA compliance as specified by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. The content is presented with enough time to read, and the different states of buttons help the user navigate through the web-bot. All text within this chatbot is also readable and understandable, and only appears after clicking on the limbic logo, making it a predictable design. The answers are often multiple-choice, making it easy for users to reply. However, when this is not the case, the user still has the possibility to use the re-do button next to their last sent message. This makes it possible for users to re-do a given answer, so that users can easily correct mistakes.
